Principal's Message

Welcome to RCEA, Moreno Valley, a California Public Charter School. Not only is RCEA a valuable program which meets the need of the district and community but we are the home of Champions!

RCEA, Moreno Valley also provides an excellent educational program as recognized by our 6-year Western Association of Schools and College's accreditation term. This year we will be going through our mid-year WASC review and look forward to showing off our student successes. The faculty and staff welcome parent involvement and as a requirement of the programs we ask that parents commit to their child's education and attend conferences and parent nights as necessary.

We also offer opportunities for parent input as part of our Wolfpack Community Partnership (WCP), LCAP and English Language Advisory Committee. At RCEA we will continue to institute Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies which allow for us to correct, encourage and teach students how to become better citizens yet still provide an opportunity for accountability.

At RCEA, Moreno Valley, we are committed to not only educating your child but to also providing valuable lifelong skills that may be used after high school; as such we will be instilling pride in learning, pride in themselves and pride in their community. We will provide a foundation of military leadership skills such as Leadership, Accountability, Respect and being Goal Oriented. Our staff have been trained in Capturing Kids Hearts and we will use this training to better relate and assist all students.

The 2019-2020 school year will be the best year for the students and staff of RCEA. Champion Equity will be displayed on a daily basis for ALL students who attend RCEA, Moreno Valley. We will also be set to defend our 4 time State Drill Championships and our back to back league titles in Football this fall.

I would like to close by inviting all stakeholders and community members to come out and be a part of the Wolfpack family! My office maintains an open door policy and I look forward to meeting you this school year. If you have any questions or concerns you would like to discuss please call me at 951-421-8450 or email me at

Thank you,
Henry Herreras
